How We Began
Iron Interior was founded in Palm Beach County with a single conviction: that the homes we inhabit shape the lives we live. We started as a small studio taking on a handful of projects each year, working closely with clients who shared our belief that interiors should be deeply personal, quietly luxurious, and built to endure.
Over the years, that conviction has only deepened. We have grown our team and our reach, but our approach remains unchanged — every project begins with listening, proceeds with intention, and ends with a space that feels inevitable. Not designed, but discovered.
Elena Marsh
Founder & Principal Designer
Elena founded Iron Interior after a decade working with some of the most respected residential design studios in New York and Miami. She brought that experience back to her home state of Florida with a clear purpose: to build a studio that prioritised craft over volume, and relationships over transactions.
Her work is characterised by a restrained palette, an obsession with proportion, and a deep respect for the architecture she works within. She believes that the best interiors are the ones that feel as though they have always been there — as if the house itself chose its furnishings.

Restraint
We believe in doing less, better. Every element in a room must earn its place. We resist the impulse to fill space and instead ask what a room truly needs to feel complete.
Craft
We source from makers whose standards match our own. The quality of a material, the precision of a joint, the hand of a fabric — these details are not finishing touches. They are the work.
Longevity
We design for the long term. Not timeless in the clichéd sense, but enduring — spaces that grow more beautiful with time and remain relevant long after the moment of their making.

Senior Designer
Specialises in space planning and renovation projects. Trained in architecture before moving into interior design, bringing a structural rigour to every brief.
Claire Fontaine
Sourcing & Procurement
Manages our network of makers, artisans, and trade suppliers. Fluent in French and Italian, with deep relationships across European design houses.
